But a high-potency delta-8 gummy delivers 100mg per serving in a 2,000mg jar at $39.99, and the ItsPurpl THCA gummies contain 155mg of cannabinoids per piece.

What genuinely impressed us is the instructional writing. On its mushroom gummies TRĒ House tells buyers the product has to metabolise before absorbing, that it can take an hour or two, that the serving size is one gummy, that newcomers should try half, and — verbatim — 'don't make the classic rookie mistake: avoid the urge to take more until you've fully felt your first serving.' That is exactly the advice that prevents the most common bad experience with edibles, and most companies selling far stronger products do not bother.

The mushroom line is also where the transparency collapses, and that is what most of this review is about.

Ingredients & Amounts

Read the mushroom breakdown carefully, because it is the whole issue. Four mushrooms are named with exact amounts — turkey tail, lion's mane, cordyceps and chaga at 20mg each — and none of them is psychoactive. They are ordinary nootropic and adaptogenic species. Whatever produces the 'psychotropic effects' the label warns about is coming from the 30mg of Neurotonin, and TRĒ House does not say what that is. The company deserves credit for the negative disclosure — it states explicitly that the product contains no psilocybin, psilocin, psilacetin, 4-hydroxy-DET, 4-Acetoxy-DET or Amanita muscaria, which heads off a genuinely dangerous assumption. But ruling out six things is not the same as naming one.

What the Manufacturer Claims

Three of these are genuinely good and one is the problem. The negative disclosure — naming six specific psychedelic compounds the product does not contain — is responsible, because a buyer assuming they had bought psilocybin might dose accordingly and be wrong in a dangerous direction. The dosing guidance is better than most clinicians give: start with half, wait for onset, do not redose. The warnings about driving and age are appropriate. What is missing is the one thing that matters most: if the mushrooms listed are not psychoactive and the psychedelics are ruled out, then something in that 30mg of Neurotonin is producing the effect, and a buyer has no way of knowing what it is, whether it interacts with their medication, or whether they should avoid it.

What the Science Actually Supports

The four named mushrooms are the reasonable part. Lion's mane has preliminary human evidence on cognitive measures from small trials. Cordyceps, chaga and turkey tail have traditional use and preclinical work with limited controlled human data. None is psychoactive and none is dangerous at these amounts — 20mg each is a small dose by supplement standards.

Neurotonin cannot be assessed because its composition is not published. Two brands elsewhere in this review series sold similar 'mushroom' products whose psychoactivity came from undisclosed or under-emphasised botanicals — in one case Himalayan mad honey, which contains grayanotoxins associated with bradycardia and heart block, and in another kava, which carries an FDA advisory over severe liver injury. We are not asserting that TRĒ House uses either. We are noting that in this specific product category, the undisclosed ingredient has repeatedly turned out to be something with a real safety profile, and that a buyer has no way to check.

The state restrictions are informative in themselves. TRĒ House will not ship these gummies to California, North Dakota, South Carolina, South Dakota, Utah or Virginia. A company declining six states is responding to something in those states' laws, and that is a signal about what the blend contains even though the label does not say.

On the cannabinoid side, delta-9 at 10mg per serving is a normal dose consistent with what regulated markets settled on. Delta-8 at 100mg per serving in the high-potency gummy is ten to twenty times that, and the documented harms of cannabis edibles — acute anxiety, panic, tachycardia, vomiting and in susceptible people transient psychotic symptoms — cluster at exactly those doses in people without tolerance.

THC-P appears in the wider range. It was first reported in Nature's Scientific Reports in 2019, with published binding data putting its CB1 affinity at roughly thirty times that of THC. Human research is minimal and there is no established dose.

THCA is the non-intoxicating acid form of THC that converts to delta-9 when heated, so smoking or vaping THCA flower delivers delta-9 THC.
